Welcome to iMPACT Youth!
iMPACT Youth is a great place to have fun, make new friends, and learn how to apply Biblical principles to your daily life. New faces are always welcome!
What's iMPACT Youth?
Until the autumn of 2011, iMPACT Youth was simply known as Teen Time. But it's not just for teens—hitting the big 2-0 doesn't mean you aren't young anymore! iMPACT Youth welcomes any young person who has completed 6th class.
The name iMPACT Youth also captures the idea behind one of our favourite Bible verses, 2 Timothy 4:12. "Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity." Young people can make an impact! We want iMPACT Youth to be a place where you can come, feel accepted for who you are, and draw strength & encouragement from other young people who share not only your challenges & fears, but also similar joys & victories.
Jay & Holly Parrow organise and often host iMPACT meetings. The Sunday Bible studies meet in their house. If you are interested in iMPACT Youth, ring them on (045) 874 759 for directions or more information. You can also email us, or contact us through our Facebook page.
What do you do?
Fun Friday activities
Twice a month, on the first and third Fridays of the month, we meet for fun-filled activites. Every fortnight brings a different activity. There's always food and an encouraging thought from the Bible.
You can click here to see what activites are coming up soon. We try to get outdoors when the weather and daylight permit. During the colder months it's fun to be inside and take your mind off the dismal weather. We try to design activities that will appeal to a wide range of people. Even if one week's activity doesn't appeal to you, come along and you might be surprised by what you can enjoy simply by being with other people.
Exciting Sunday night Bible studies
On Sunday nights we meet at 6.30 for a relaxed Bible study. On the first Sunday of the month we meet at the Naas GAA with the rest of Naas Baptist Fellowship. On all the other Sunday nights we meet at Jay & Holly's house. Our Bible studies are designed to address the everyday challenges young people face. We invite everyone to ask questions, make comments, and share your own experiences.
An active online community
The public Facebook page for iMPACT Youth can be found by clicking the button to the right. You will definitely want to "like" that page so you receive reminders about upcoming activities and get the latest news if plans change.
People who attend iMPACT Youth can also join a private Facebook group. It's a place to network with your iMPACT friends, make suggestions & share ideas, find out what's going on with other people, and find sympathetic ears even when we aren't together.
